What is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates is a form of Pilates that uses a spring-based machine called a Reformer. It helps build core strength, improve posture, increase flexibility, and support injury prevention — all through controlled, low-impact movement.
I have never done reformer pilates before, Can I still join?
Absolutely. We welcome beginners! Our Introductory pack is designed to guide you through the fundamentals in a supportive, small-group environment. No experience is needed — just a willingness to move and learn.
What should I wear and bring to class?
Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for movement. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene — these can be purchased at the studio if needed. We provide everything else, including water and equipment.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. As class sizes are kept small for individual attention, we recommend booking in advance to secure your place. You can book online through our website or via our booking app.
Can Reformer Pilates help with injury recovery or chronic pain?
Yes — we offer Rehab-Specific Reformer Classes and work closely with clients recovering from injury or managing conditions like low back pain. Our clinical background in physiotherapy ensures safe, effective programming. If you’re unsure where to start, please contact us for guidance.
How many people are in a class?
We keep our classes small (8 people maximum) to ensure you get personal attention and expert guidance in every session.
How often should I attend classes?
For best results, we recommend attending 2–3 classes per week. However, even one regular session per week can help build strength, improve posture, and support your overall well-being.
Is Reformer Pilates suitable during pregnancy or after giving birth?
Yes — absolutely. We offer both prenatal and postnatal Reformer Pilates classes designed to support you through pregnancy, prepare for birth, and aid recovery postpartum.
You can also avail of a private 1:1 session with our physiotherapist to understand your individual needs, stage of pregnancy or recovery, and to help guide you into the class. For some, a few one-on-one sessions may be beneficial before joining group classes.
These classes focus on safe, supportive movement to strengthen the core and pelvic floor, improve posture, and help you feel confident and empowered in your body during this important stage of life.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 12 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a class. This allows us to offer your spot to someone else and keep waitlists moving.
Do you offer private sessions?
Yes. One-on-one and duet sessions are available and highly recommended for beginners, injury recovery, or those looking for more personalised attention. Please contact us directly to book.
